Spark the rescue lose three members
The three members of Spark the rescue, Mike, Dave and Dillon decided to leave the band.
Here's a statement released from the band:
It comes with heavy hearts to write this, but we want to keep you in the loop on what’s going on with Sparks The Rescue. Throughout the past few years we have gone through many amazing times together, and many hardships. There comes a time in everyone’s lives where they need to take a step back, and evaluate what they are doing, and why. This is one of those times. Mike, Dave and Dillon will be parting ways with STR after our show this Saturday, Dec. 22 at The Space in Hamden, CT. This is an amicable departure and we all still love each other as brothers and as a family. We understand that this may come as a bit of a shock to the fans and friends, but we would appreciate it if everyone could be understanding and respectful of their decisions.
As for the future of Sparks The Rescue, although the times are changing, we are NOT breaking up. Alex and Toby have been in this band for many years, and their passion is still strong for music and with the band. Plans are already in motion to be back in the studio at the end of January, recording new music, as well as tours in 2013 that will be announced after the holiday season. It is a sad day for all of us, but in another sense, it is a new beginning. Alex and Toby are very excited about the new year, and we think you will be too with the coming announcements. So we hope you all have a great Christmas and a happy new year. Please understand how much we love and appreciate every single one of you. See below for statements from Mike and David. - Alex and Toby
While this is really sad for me to write I feel like I needed to do it. Sparks has been a family for me for the last 2 - 2 1/2 years and I wouldn’t give up any one of those days for anything. That being said, this Saturday December 22nd will be my last show with sparks the rescue, for now. There may be a time where we decide to play shows together again but for now I will not be actively pursuing it. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and this band over the years. Without you I wouldn’t have the great memories that will last forever. Please, if you live in the CT area come out to the space in Hamden, CT this Saturday for a great time! Dave
After 3 years of touring with my brothers, I have decided to leaveSparks The Rescue to pursue my own musical endeavors. I’ll always love the guys and every fan I’ve met along the way. Everyone that bought merch and let us sleep on their floor. This Saturday, like Dave, will be my last show with Sparks. Since it’s in CT I’d like to go out with a bang in my home state. Come support and sing along :) .See you all in 2013! Mike

Excited for Friday?
Some believe the world will end this Friday, December 21st. We, however, are very excited for Friday!
You wanna know why?
Firstly, there's going to be a rain from the sun that will cause North Lights and Southern Lights all over the world, in the middle of the day! And that's pretty much all that will happen. And oh, you might experience troubles with your internet and phones, but that's all that will happen. You have a lot of reasons to be excited for Friday!
Pierce the veil are releasing their new music video! And, if that's not enough, nine more bands will be released for Warped Tour!
We can't wait for Friday!

Attack! Attack! new member
Attack! Attack! have now officially introduced their new band member Phil Druyor from I am Abormination. And if that's not enough, a new song will be released tomorrow!
Here's Phil's statement about joining this band:
So it turns out that I AM the new vocalist for Attack Attack!Dear friends,
If you are reading this, you are more than likely seeking confirmation that I am the new vocalist for Attack Attack! This is true. After Caleb and AJ decided that they would no longer continue on with the band, I was asked if I would like to join and make a new record with them. I said yes to both. The decision was very easy to make due to the fact that we’ve been friends for almost the entire duration of both our band’s careers.
To be clear, this does not mean that I Am Abomination is over. At all. I will be fulfilling my roll in each band simultaneously, and since I Am Abomination doesn’t tour much (or at all), it really won’t change much about us. The biggest difference is that we won’t be in the same room while working on the early stages of each record.
This part is my favorite. Starting on January 5th, I will be making a new record with Attack Attack! Over the last few years, my best friend/guitarist/vocal coach/life coach has become one of the most amazing producers in the industry right now, and I am proud to say that Nick Sampson will be producing the new Attack Attack! record. The direction of the new album is definitely a bit of a change up, but I feel that the band has made a name for themselves inside of their genre by being the band to change the game first. We plan to do that again.
And in closing, thank you to every single person who has ever supported me in all that I do. I appreciate it more than you could ever know. However, I am not asking for your approval. I do not need you to sign off on the matter. This is not an application. I wouldn’t have accepted the offer if I didn’t think that I could make respectable music with them. I am simply informing you that the world is going to be taken over in 2013, and I’m inviting you all along for the ride. I would enjoy your company.
P.S. There will be a new Attack Attack! song posted TOMORROW!

Member who left Attack! Attack! has been replaced
The vocalist of Attack! Attack!, Caleb Shomo has announced the left the band.
He will be replaced as vocalist and frontman by Phil Druyor from I am Abomination.
Here's the statement from Caleb:
He will be replaced as vocalist and frontman by Phil Druyor from I am Abomination.
Here's the statement from Caleb:
"So as you all have heard and the internet somehow revealed before i got the chance to, as john announced last week, i have also left AA. Technically i have been out of the band for about three months now, but the guys wanted to wait to announce until they had everything lined up with the new guy which i had no problem with. Honestly me and john have very similar reasons for leaving (if you all got the chance to read his amazing farewell message.) I have horrible clinical depression and have for years. as you may have heard from my speeches i gave during about the last 6 months or so of my touring career with AA i have been suicidal since middle school. I’ve struggled on and off with eating disorders, self image problems since i was announced as the frontman a few years ago, and various substance abuse and addictions for about the past year. Having thousands of people tell you your a “fat piece of shit” isn’t exactly the easiest thing to deal with at 17, and i could imagine ever. I am very scatter brained and just kinda am ranting so deal with me for this being so all over the place. I love all of the guys that have ever been involved in AA. Great dudes, very supportive as well. Starting about a year ago i started to really go into a downward spiral mentally. Having panic attacks, mental breakdowns, cutting myself off from the world for weeks at a time, writing insanely depressing songs, not too fun. I had a lot of stress in my life/demons haunting me and in no way wanted to face it head on and deal with it. As you may have guessed this doesn’t help problems in the least. 2012 has easily been the darkest year of my life overall. Its had some of the most amazing things happen (getting my life together toward the end along with getting married to my lovely wife fleur) but generally filled with a lot of pain and attempts to cope with them. I left on good terms with everyone and they were very supportive of my decision. It wasn’t easy, but trust me, if you have known me for the past year you’d be understand as well. I am still fully going to be making music. Honestly i’ll probably be making more at this point. Im also going to be doing more producing and songwriting which is a massive passion of mine. ALSO for those wondering i will still be making hardcore music. I have a new band (well not that new in reality… but new to you!) called beartooth that is a hardcore band where i will be screaming and yelling and singing and running around on a stage generally making a fool of myself and all that good stuff i did in AA. I cant tell you how much i’ll be touring or when. But i will be putting out tons of music and i definitely will be playing shows! So if you get a chance, come hang! As of now i really feel that in my life i have needed some stability and rest. this is a time for me to recoup mentally and prepare for my next chapter of life (whatever that has in store.) I also am stoked for AA. Their new singer who will be taking the role i used to play is Phil Druyor of I Am Abomination, who is about a bagillion times more awesome singer then i am if i do say so myself. From what I’ve heard while hanging out with Wetzel and Whiting (which i still do, so don’t start going around making up some stupid story that we hate each other or something like that… ya crazy kids) the new music is awesome! Very unique and still very much so AA.
Thanks for taking the time to check this out!"

The sequel of Enter Shikari's record "A flash flood of colour" will be recorded next year. The start of 2013 will be filled with a lot of touring but according to the bass player, Chris Batten will the late 2013 be hard work only with the upcoming album.
This is what he said in an interview with Gigwise:
However, the record won't come out until 2014, if we are lucky, he continued:
This is what he said in an interview with Gigwise:
”The first half of the year will be spent finishing up the tour. Half a year’s quite a lot touring really. And then for us it takes us about 18 months to do a solid album really because we’re lucky enough to go to a lot of places really, so it does take us a fair while. But towards the end, and in the second half of the year we’ll be focusing on the next record."
However, the record won't come out until 2014, if we are lucky, he continued:
”We won’t have anything released next year but we’ll definitely have been in the studio.”
